On the road to Tsukino-Con

Tsukino-Con 2012

A-Invasion will be there... Will YOU? I doubt it.

-Read more to find out.-

Greetings to you all,

Finally, after nearly a whole year of not posting anything, I have come to spread some important news. For the first time ever, A-Invasion will be attending Tsukino-Con, an annual anime convention held at the University of Victoria! (Actually, this will have probably been our third(?) time going to Tsukino-Con as a group, but since we didn’t establish A-Invasion until a month after the last convention, I figured making an official team debut would sound more grand.)

Anyways, for some of you who don’t know what Tsukino-Con is about, it’s a typical anime convention that hosts all sorts of panels, contests and events. FYI though, Tsukino-Con is not a big anime convention when you compare it to Anime Evolution in Vancouver or AFA in Singapore (which is the one bombsaflying attended a while back), but nonetheless it still carries a strong spirit for anime and Japanese culture. For full information on what to expect at the convention, go check out the official website.

So having gotten most of the basic details out of the way, you may be wondering what we, as the A-Invasion team, will be doing there. There isn’t much of a promise that we will be doing anything more significant than previous years, but we hope that we can record and photograph as much as we can (i.e. cosplayers and panels) and upload them here on our blog for all of you visitors to see and enjoy.

That’s it from me. Other than that, hope to see you all there. Also, go watch Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou if you haven’t already.
