Typical followup episode, where we see the protagonist show off his crazy skills to everyone. Still, it wasn’t a bad episode, just not particular interesting. It’s refreshing to see an active protagonist where he doesn’t whine every episode about being stuck in some alternative realm.

Dog Days – 01

Dog Days is an anime-original animated by Aniplex. It follows the story of a boy named Sinkku as he is summoned into an alternate realm by a princess. Zero no Tsukaima or Fate/stay night style. It contains famous seiyuus such as Nana Mizuki, Yui Horie, and Mamoru Miyano voicing the main characters. Read more of this post

SHAFT announces the title of their new Madoka spinoff “Mahou Shoujo Sonico★Magica”

Note: For those unfamiliar with the latest of Shaft director Shinbou Akiyuki work’s, Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica has been fairly popular over the course of this season. I highly recommend this anime for those unfamiliar with it. The anime, however, is being suspended until further notice. Rumored date of completion has said to be at the end of April.

Shinbou has announced a new spinoff series of Madoka. He wanted to create a more “heart warming slice-of-life series” than the current Madoka. Earlier today, he revealed the title of this new spinoff, called Mahou Shoujo Sonico★Magica. The new opening has even been released. For those unfamiliar with Super Sonico, she is the mascot of visual novel creators nitro+.
