Tsukino-Con 2012: Kelly Clark’s Box Set.

I have uploaded the contest onto my youtube channel.
The only part I’m missing is the part before part 6, which Phocus forgot to record.

The show that asdfsafe failed at blogging

Just watched episode 13 of Denpa Oto….blah blah blah.  You know that show with the weird opening and an unlimited amount of sparkles around Erio’s head.  Well this special episode definitely did not lack the sparkle overload aspect, since it was necessary to make Erio look transcendent.  This is acceptable, Twilight’s style is not.  Well it seems in this episode, everything Makoto believed and have tried so hard to establish was turned upside down.  Near the end, Yashiro showed up and told Makoto that she will prove to him that she is an alien with great power.  Yashiro tells Makoto to step back 3 steps and starts performing a ritual.  Almost immediately a meteor grazes Makoto and strikes the same place that he was standing only a moment ago.  The bewildered Makoto is left with unanswerable questions as Yashiro disappears during the moment of impact.  After this event, Makoto is back to wondering whether or not aliens exist.  And if they do, does that mean Erio’s past beliefs of her encounter with aliens was true.  If so, wouldn’t Makoto have wasted half a dozen episodes working his butt of in order to force his lies onto Erio? Wouldn’t he be the one who wasted time to cover the truth due to his small mindedness, instead of trying to find ways of proving alien life?

I really like how this show is a slice of life with a hint of aliens and how the writer does not chose to explain the alien aspect any further than it is.  This show is very much like Anohana as the true nature of the supernatural is not explored and the themes of friendship and family are more pronounced.

High School Girls

This week’s episode of Daily Life of Highschool Boys is hilarious, even though they took the common route of having a school cultural event with girls taking up half the air time.  The funny thing is the girls did not behave nicely like all the other animes.  It actually reflected reality more accurately with the girls acting awkward and violent and possessive when sweets come into play.  I was actually disappointed that Yoshitake and Hidenori only got screen time as background characters cheering on in the crowd.  Tadakuni mistook two look alikes of his best friends twice throughout the episode.  Seems like he needs a pair of glasses.  Also, literature girl didn’t appear either.  At one point I thought she had her back to the camera at the reception but it was impossible to identify her.  Too bad I didn’t see a cameo of her at the festival.  Oh well.

It’s the Weekend!

Weekends are the best because you get to relax and watch more anime!

It’s time for my usual 10 minute short blog.  Right now it is 11:23 pm.  Let’s see how far I can get.

I watched Amagami SS+ episode 4 last night.  I have to say that this anime is unique for its story line since it is based off of a dating game.  The main character Junichi switches girlfriends every two or so episodes but they are never in the same universe.  So it’s more like he exists in several parallel universes which equal a harem (but not really a harem) that transcends space and time limitations.  This episode displayed a long series of intimate moments of Junichi and his close childhood friends.  It was nice but “they were being cockblocked too many times” -Pw3age.  Also, I found that the girl had too little lines.  Yes in real life it is nice to have that intimate atmosphere, but when you have long periods of silence in anime entertainment, it ruins the entertainment value as it quite difficult/expensive to do these scenes with detailed expressions.  Scenes like this would be better in entertainment with live actors since they can actually portray the emotion with their facial expressions.

Then I also watched Zero no Tsukaima F episode 2 today.  Yes I was actually shocked that I did not commit to catching up with a show that I intended to watch…

No one will read this anyways

Huh our blog is still rundown as it has always been.  No big surprise there.  It seems that everyone stopped a long time ago since it was so time consuming to blog.  Every post was a long review and capturing the perfect picture from the anime also took a long time.

Hmm well I’m just bored right now so I am going to give myself 10 minutes to write about anything anime related that I had done today.

Let’s see… I watched Daily Life of Highschool Boys episode 3.  That was quite funny.  It seemed to have recovered a bit from the disappointment that is episode 2.  This week they brought out new gags and they introduced the female counterparts of the group of boys.  This tactic to somewhat return to the common theme  of daily life of highschool girls is somewhat disappointing since I was hoping for the producers to be able to pull of a great comedy with only guys in it, but sadly no.  I guess what is required to increase audience numbers must be done, after all anime girls receive more attention. e.g. K-On!, Haruhi.

Hmm… seems like that’s all I’ve got to say for today.

Hello World

It’s time to post and forget.

Come at me bro.

Sousei no Aquarion

The most significant thing in the whole series to me was…..

The Right HAND RULE!

In the show, understanding this Vector concept was necessary to transcend the third dimension.  This was one of the many deep concepts that showed up in Aquarion.

Anyone here?

I’m bored.
